Water flooded carpet

We have water flooded into the carpet area, what should I do?

Firstly, don’t worry. Our team will test the moisture of the carpet and determine what needs to be done.

While there are a few variables we need to consider, we will be able to create a plan from our inspection of the carpet which may include placing ventilators in the affected areas to increase airflow and encourage the carpet to dry out quicker.

Can I restore my carpet?

My carpet hasn’t been steam cleaned for a long time. Is it possible to restore the carpet condition?

Yes, you can. The longer the carpet has been left without steam cleaning, the more treatment we will need to apply to achieve restoration.

Stain removal

Will steam cleaning remove stains and markets from my carpet?

Our team is confident in removing most of the stains and marks from your carpet however, some are more stubborn than others. Stains and marks from coloured liquids like red wine, dye or other colouring for example can increase the difficulty of restoration, as well as how long the stain has been there for.

If we can’t remove the stain, we can reduce the colouring so it is less obvious.

Why is my carpet wrinkly?

Why is my carpet so wrinkly and wavy after steam cleaning?

It is very common for older carpet to expand when it is exposed to water. The older the carpet, the more clay it will have in it’s underlay. When adding moisture, this will expand. Once your carpet has dried, it will return to its previous state.

Feel free to keep a fan on and open your window to enhance air ventilation in the space and encourage the drying out process.
