Hiya, My name is Sully (Well my nickname anyway). I live in England and my heritage is English but I was born in Australia. I moved back to England in March 2018. I thought I would explain that part as some other editors might wonder why someone in County Durham, England is updating articles about North Sydney, Parramatta and other Australian teams.
I started editing back in 2017 mainly due to the fact that I saw many articles that had little to no information on the players or they were simply not created. I thought that with my knowledge of the game, and with my experiences that I could contribute to Wikipedia. I enjoy editing and creating articles especially on the older players e.g. pre 1960s.
There are a lot of good players from the beginning in 1908 up until the 1970s who achieved some great things in the game but there was nothing wrote about them. I feel in some ways by creating the articles that in some way they get the recognition they deserve.
I have also edited a few Football articles but due to the fact that Football is a lot more popular globally than Rugby League is, I have noticed that Football articles are more regularly updated and therefore do not need my input as much.
